Catherine Harvey
How do I follow the biographies of my fellow colleagues? I cannot profess to being a secret author of world famous books or having a string of credentials to reel out at opportune moments. Mine was an unusual start into the world of writing. After cheating death from a massive head injury at the age of two, I came out of hospital with the newfound abilities of reading and writing and so began my quest to become a writer. Leaving out the tedious and boring journey in between, I now find myself among the ranks of ‘special’ people at High Position, editing your technology news on a daily basis and writing the blurb you see on web pages. You don’t have to be mad to work here but a serious bang on the head helps, I find!

Swapna Uddin
Having worked in various magazine and newspaper publishing companies, trained as a magazine Sub-editor and now training from home as a journalist, I realised that I no longer wanted to work in the world of print publishing but decided to move towards the web. I found my niche in SEO Web Copywriting and Web Content writing when I discovered the world of SEO and website designing nearly a year ago. In doing this, I learnt that SEO writing was very different from print writing as it gave me the opportunity to take whatever angle I wanted with each article provided it remained relevant to the anchor text. I was more relieved that I no longer had to worry about the pressures of meeting to tight deadlines before going to press! I soon discovered and found employment with High Position (now nearly 6 months ago), and have not looked back since. I very quickly settled into the supportive and friendly working environment at High Position, and they gave me the freedom to be as creative as I wanted with each article. No two days are the same when working for High Position, each member of staff work hard to achieve nothing short of excellence in their service, whilst maintaining a relaxed attitude and keeping a good morale in the office.
